The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved the Action Plan for implementing the Digital Qazaqstan national strategy through 2029. The document marks the country’s transition from point-solution digitalization to a comprehensive transformation of the economy based on artificial intelligence and modern technological solutions.
According to the approved program, the large-scale implementation of AI technologies will affect key sectors: industry, energy, logistics, agriculture, construction, as well as public services, healthcare, and education.
One of the main economic priorities of the strategy is strengthening the domestic IT sector. By 2029, the export volume of Kazakhstani digital products and IT services is planned to increase by at least 50%. Local players are actively participating in shaping the new technological ecosystem, including Kaztechnology, which develops its own competencies and solutions in the field of AI.
The implementation of Digital Qazaqstan will shape a new economic model where data and artificial intelligence become key drivers of competitiveness for both the state and business.
