Aigul Mukey and Batyroff Test Starlink on Astana – Semey Train.
"Kaztechnology," in collaboration with "Aray Trans KZ" LLP, continues to deploy cutting-edge telecommunications solutions even in the most remote areas of the railway network
Modern digital technologies in Kazakhstan's passenger rail transport are receiving high praise not only from industry experts but also from prominent public figures and bloggers.
During a trip on the Astana – Semey – Dostyk route, well-known Kazakhstani influencers Aigul Mukey and Batyroff tested the performance of Starlink satellite internet, which was implemented by "Kaztechnology" in partnership with the carrier "Aray Trans KZ" LLP.
In their social media posts and videos, the bloggers demonstrated the Wi-Fi in action while the train was in motion. They highlighted the stable connection, seamless login process, and the ability to stay online even in areas where mobile network coverage was previously non-existent. According to them, the internet runs smoothly, allowing passengers to use social media, check messengers, stream content, and work while traveling.
The independent reviews from these popular bloggers serve as further proof that the integration of satellite internet significantly enhances the comfort of rail travel across Kazakhstan.
As a reminder, Train No. 121/122 Astana – Semey – Dostyk became one of the first private carrier trains in Kazakhstan to launch high-speed Starlink internet. The project was carried out by "Kaztechnology" in cooperation with "Aray Trans KZ" LLP as part of an initiative to develop modern digital services for passengers. Train travel for passengers has now become even more comfortable, modern, and high-tech!
